With open space almost non-existent in Mumbai, real estate builders are now concentrating on the outskirts of Mumbai. A real estate client NEEV was investing into a township in Vasind, a small town located on Mumbai – Nasik highway. The brief given to Thinking Bug was to study the market environment and propose the project feasibility, an overall strategy with what to offer and whom to target?

Solution

Few well established players had already launched their projects in the nearby areas so we did contextual research to assess the external market conditions, social and competitive trends with the property launch roadmap. Thinking Bug team used exploratory design research techniques to document the lifestyle of people and culture prevalent in Vasind. Finally quantitative and qualitative findings were combined with visual research and the teams’ expertise to devise strategies to address our client’s commercial objectives.
