Social Innovation

We work with public and private sector organisations, NGOs and social entrepreneurs to address pressing unmet needs and improve people’s lives.

We intend to advance people’s capacity to solve their problems and mobilises the ubiquitous intelligence that exists within our society. We are deeply involved in the implementation and diffusion that makes promising ideas useful and replicable. The innovation driver is the acknowledgement of the gap between what people need and what is being offered to them. We have also realised that this gap is constantly widening due to various reasons such as growing diversity in cities, stark inequalities in the social status, generation gap, ageing and education etc.

These are some of the areas where we see huge innovation deficits, providing sufficient opportunities for new creative solutions. We don’t begin with dividing our society into demographics; rather we appreciate the messiness of human behaviour which cannot be averaged into categories. We explore the day-to-day lives of people, employing a mix of qualitative methods such as personal interviews, observation, role play and social anthropology which helps us to find out what is relevant to them. We specialize in deep understanding of needs which is sometimes difficult to articulate, and it is the starting point for successful innovation.

Our new concepts and measures identify new problems, provide solutions for existing problems and ease the implementation of a solution that has not been applied before. Our aim is to put a stop to the unnecessary human sufferings due to unrealised potential of people by making strategies which are flexible, imaginative and human-centered.
